Energy & Net Zero Strategy, Renewable Energy Feasibility

Strategic energy and net‑zero planning for estates, masterplans and complex developments. We help clients explore options early, assess feasibility and define clear, deliverable pathways to decarbonisation.

What Energy & Net Zero Strategy means for estates and early-stage design

Energy and Net Zero Strategy provides a clear, evidence based roadmap for reducing carbon across entire buildings or estates—aligning fabric performance, energy demand, infrastructure capacity and low carbon technologies from the earliest design stages.

Our Strategy Approach (RIBA 1–3)

We explore multiple options, model energy demand, compare technologies, assess infrastructure constraints, and develop a preferred strategy that can be carried confidently into detailed design.

We develop robust energy and Net Zero Strategies by exploring design options, building fabric improvement scenarios, modelling whole estate energy demand, and comparing low carbon technologies; this includes undertaking estate wide heat decarbonisation studies, assessing electrification potential alongside PV and battery storage opportunities to optimise peak loads and resilience, identifying fabric and demand reduction measures to ensure technologies are appropriately sized and future proof, and evaluating grid and infrastructure capacity to confirm the preferred strategy is technically deliverable, cost aligned and ready to progress confidently into later design stages.

Planning, Policy & Compliance Alignment

We prepare early-stage energy strategies, carbon assessments, and option appraisals that support planning submissions, funding applications, and local authority netzero policy requirements.

Request an estate-wide energy strategy or feasibility review — inviting early engagement before masterplan decisions are locked in.
