M&E Design Consultant

Toby has multiple years of experience designing mechanical and electrical systems within the domestic sector. Having previously held a role as an M&E designer at an installer of heat pumps, HVAC systems and solar PV systems, Toby has valuable insight into how designs are translated during installation on site; unnecessary complications often occur when this relationship is overlooked and these can be easily avoided if highlighted during the design stage. As a Passive House Consultant, Toby also has a keen interest in building performance too which, when consolidated with M&E design, allows him to offer holistic solutions to complex challenges in both the retrofit and new-build projects.

In Toby's role at Mesh,  he offers advice and design solutions for a broad range of services across a wide range of projects where clients are looking at implementing some renewable technologies into their scheme.

• Multiple years using Revit & AutoCAD
• Proficient in designing M&E systems in domestic applications
• Strong understanding of renewable systems including heat pumps, solar PV and MVHR
• Certified Passive House Consultant with experience using the Passive House Planning Package (PHPP)
