Leweston Water Tower

This beautiful 100 year old listed concrete water tower renovation located in Dorset is truly one of the most unique projects we have been involved in to date. Built to serve a local manor house with water and left derelict in the 1970s the tower was brought back to life as a holiday home in the mid 1990’s.

We helped the home owner to look at various means by which winter comfort could be improved and electricity costs reduced. A full heat loss survey and cost-benefit analysis was carried out to determine the most cost effective but greatest thermal improvement could be achieved.

The project is currently considering:

  • Insulation improvements
  • Air and ground source heating
  • Solar PV battery solution
