Longdole Polo Club

This stunning Polo Club in the Gloucestershire countryside is currently thriving offering many the opportunity to play Polo. Spread out across a wide site with stables, groom accommodation and offices the site uses oil and electricity for all heating and hot water on site.

Having previously worked for the owner of this site we were invited to undertake a strategic renewable technology feasibility study to help determine site wide energy use and feasibility of wide range of low carbon solutions to get the site off oil fuel completely.

In addition, we are looking at the expansion of using solar panels on site to help reduce on site electricity bills throughout the year and reduce the club’s carbon footprint.

The project is currently considering:

  • Ground source heating
  • Air source heating (High and low temp)
  • Solar PV installation
